Dental Implant インプラント

Implants are one of the best options for missing teeth. These permanent metal screws anchor artificial teeth such as crowns, bridges or dentures. Implants can replace one or more missing teeth. We use Straumann a Swiss-made implant system that is considered the best of the best.

インプラントは、歯を失った場合の最良の選択肢の一つです。これらの永久的な金属のネジは、クラウン、ブリッジや入れ歯のような人工歯を固定します。インプラントは、1本またはそれ以上の失った歯の代わりになります。当院ではストローマンというインプラントの中で一番いいシステムと言われるスイス製のものを使用しております。

Steps of Implant:

1. After extraction, wait 2-3 months for a CT scan to confirm the bone level (amount, thickness, and height). As soon as the results are available (usually within 3-5 days), an appointment is made with the doctor in charge for the surgery.

2.On the day of surgery, the patient is first anesthetized (local anesthesia) and screws are installed. For those who do not have enough bone, bone grafting is performed at the same time. The surgery will take 30-60 minutes.

*You will be given antibiotics, painkillers, and gargles.

*If there is bleeding, please chew gauze and swallow saliva.

*Avoid hot and hard foods for at least 3 days. Please eat mainly cold and soft foods as much as possible.

*Please be careful not to brush or gargle strongly as you will be asked to leave with the wound painted.

*For patients who have had a bone graft, some of the grafted bone (white powder) may come out of the wound.

3.Please come back one week after the surgery for a wound check and thread removal with your doctor. You will have to wait 4-6 months after the surgery for your screw and bone to be attached completely before your doctor can make a crown to be placed over the implant.

　4. 4-6 months later, a dental mold is taken and the crown is made.

　5. One week after the mold is taken, the crown is placed and the implant treatment is complete.

The total treatment time for implants is 7-10 months.

インプラントの治療順序：

• 抜歯後、２−３ヶ月待ちCTスキャンをとり骨のレベル（量・厚み・高さ）を確認する。結果が出次第（大体３−５日）、担当医と手術のアポイントを取る。
• 手術日は、まず麻酔をしてネジの取り付け。骨が足りない方は、骨移植も同時に行います。手術は３０分〜６０分ほどかかります。

＊抗生剤、痛み止め、うがい薬をお渡しします。

＊出血がありましたらガーゼを噛んで、唾液は飲み込んでください。

＊熱いものや硬いものは最低３日控えてください。できるだけ冷たいものや柔らかいものを中心に食べてください。

＊傷口は塗った状態で帰って頂きますので、強く磨いたり強くうがいしないよう気をつけて下さい。

＊骨移植された方は、移植した骨（白いパウダー）が傷口から少し出てくる場合がございます。

　３．　手術一週間後に担当医と傷口と糸抜きにいらして下さい。インプラントのネジと患者様の自然の骨がしっかり合体するまで４−６ヶ月待ち担当医にインプラントのネジの上に被せるクラウンを作成します。

　４．４−６ヶ月後、歯型を取りクラウンの作成。

　５．歯型取りから一週間後に出来上がったクラウンを取り付けてインプラントの治療が終了いたします。

インプラントの治療期間は合計７−１０ヶ月になります。
